DV7 Soccer Academy is a network of international youth soccer clubs led by David Villa, former World Cup winner, and Spain’s all-time leading goal scorer. The organization’s mission is to teach children around the world how to play soccer, to develop soccer skills while fostering personal values on and off the field. All coaches are UEFA Licensed with international experience and help prepare, educate kids and young adults to develop into amazing athletes and to reach opportunities for a professional soccer career.

Wesgroup is proud to be sponsoring D7 Soccer athlete, Mohammed Onjo (17 years old). In 2017, Mohammed and his family fled to Canada from the war in Syria. To him, his only interest is soccer. Mohammed will take one of the most important steps in his career this Spring, travelling to New York to participate in the Queensboro FC tryouts for a chance to be selected for the Queensboro FC U18 Team, get a student visa, and a scholarship with all expenses paid to live his dream of becoming a professional soccer player.
