This year, Wesgroup is proud to be named finalists in 2 categories, Industrial Lease for Overland West Freight Inc. and Industrial Development for Texcan.

With Wesgroup’s expertise in brownfield remediation and track record for built-to-suit projects, a finalized building design was completed in less than 30 days and strategically met the facilities needs of Overland West. The Overland West development consists of 36,000 sq.ft., 48 door, built-to-suit cross-dock facility that will also include 11,000 sq.ft. of turn-key office to serve as a regional head office, located on Bridgeview Drive in North Surrey.

Texcan, a multi-purpose industrial building is aesthetically appealing and sustainably conscious. This project was a significant built-to-suit Industrial Warehouse and Head Office building with a total of 105,000sq. ft. of space. The goal for Texcan was to be centrally located for distribution and have a large enough building to accommodate floor loads of 1000 lbs /sq. ft. floor. Wesgroup was able to meet and achieve Texcan’s needs and expectation by developing a high performance building, in addition to accommodating to very specific and stringent requirements and specifications.
