A Great Place to Work – Five Years and Counting
We don’t like to brag, except when it’s about our people.
At Wesgroup Properties, being certified as a Great Place to Work® for the fifth year in a row is more than a badge. It’s a reflection of the everyday experiences our team shares. It’s where people feel supported, empowered, and proud of the work they do.
This recognition is based on anonymous employee feedback and a rigorous analysis conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute® Canada. It highlights the trust, connection, and culture that define life at Wesgroup.

Your benefits & perks
Your wellness is our priority.
At Wesgroup, we are committed to supporting the total well-being of all our people. So in addition to our industry leading comprehensive benefits package, we also offer employees additional coverage for things like fitness-related costs, daycare, and eldercare expenses, just to name a few. We know life can be challenging at times, which is why we offer Wellness Wednesdays at Wesgroup to provide tips on how to manage and take care of your mental health, along with access to a digital cognitive behavioural therapy program for all employees and their family members.
Work + Life = Balance.
We encourage the full use of vacation time to ensure our people stay balanced and refreshed throughout the year. Paid time off for dealing with life’s emergencies and/or family/pet matters in addition to top-up for sick and maternity/parental leaves are also offered. Giving back to our community is part of our mission at Wesgroup, so each employee also receives up to 5 paid days off each year to donate time to various charitable events.
Hello, Home Purchase Discount Program.
As a real estate developer, we are pleased to offer our employees (along with friends and family members) an opportunity to purchase our beautifully designed and built homes at a discounted rate through our employee home purchase discount program (but only if you invite us to the housewarming party).
Got career goals? Good.
Career development means different things to different people. We are committed to supporting your career goals through coaching, mentoring and stretch assignments. To further enhance skills and capabilities at all levels, Wesgroup employees have access to best-in-class training and development platforms. We know that your success is pivotal to our success—which is why we also offer tuition reimbursement for external education related to your career advancement at Wesgroup.
Open communication policy.
Honest, transparent, two-way communication is a critical component of our culture—and our success as a team. Staying informed about our business enables you to thrive. In addition to regular team and 1:1 meetings, we host casual monthly ‘Open Mic’ calls with our Executive Team where employees can ask questions and get up to minute information. We also hold live Town Hall events twice a year and provide regular updates from our President and leadership teams.
Have fun (for reals).
Can work be fun? Why not ask the people already here. Having fun and genuinely connecting with people is what makes working at Wesgroup so rewarding. From Hot Lunch Fridays to holiday parties, team building activities and summer events—the good times just keep coming.

Judge a company by the values they keep.
The values Wesgroup was founded on still hold true today. They guide us in our decision making and inform how we conduct our business. Most importantly, they have fostered a culture that keeps us genuinely connected to each other, to our customers and partners, and to the communities we are part of.
These are the values we live by:
Accountability
We take ownership and responsibility for our actions and hold others accountable to do the same.
Adaptability
We proactively adapt and evolve to ensure Wesgroup’s long-term success.
Relationships
We nurture and maintain all relationships with the long-term in mind.
The Golden Rule
We treat people how we would want to be treated – with respect, empathy, and honesty.
A genuine culture
of connection.
As a company, we know that people need support and connection in order to thrive.
Our Culture Committee headed up by our President, Beau Jarvis, ensures that our people are engaged and connected through various events that we host throughout the year.
Whether it is Hot Lunch Fridays, our Halloween department crawl, or our many volunteer opportunities, we find a way for our people to interact with each other that promotes fun, genuine connection, and giving back.
We believe in actions.
Not words.
That’s why you won’t find our name emblazoned on buildings. Instead, we strive to make a positive impact by supporting organizations that provide real benefits in the communities where we work and live. While no single mission guides where funds are donated, there is a common intent to make their positive impact as powerful as possible.
We bring our entrepreneurial approach to philanthropy in order to tackle critical problems by providing funding to a broad range of recipients.
We take safety
seriously
Wesgroup is committed to ensuring a healthy and safe working environment that protects our employees, sub-contractors, the public, and our properties from unwanted incidents. To achieve this, Wesgroup has developed a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Program that defines specific roles and responsibilities for all Wesgroup employees and sub-contractors working on Wesgroup projects. Our safety program also extends from the project sites to include our offices and other work locations. At Wesgroup, we hold everyone responsible and accountable to adhere to our Health and Safety Program.
